A few kilometres from Portigliola, the Palatium of Quote San Francesco tells the story of aristocratic life in Locris between the 5th and 7th centuries AD. This late antique residential complex, probably the home of an influential local dominus, was built on several floors and included reception rooms, private baths and living spaces, revealing luxury and prestige. Located south of the ancient walls of Locri, the site offers a unique insight into the architecture and daily life of the period.
